Admins can curate welcome content ahead of time—such as company values, a first-week schedule, and equipment setup details — to ensure new hires feel prepared and excited before their first day.
Behind the scenes, the system automatically assigns tasks to teams, ensuring that everything from equipment delivery to payroll setup is handled smoothly. Combined with Lattice Talent, onboarding doesn’t stop at day one. New hires have their first weeks mapped out with scheduled 1:1s, clear onboarding goals, and performance expectations — all trackable in real time.
By transitioning to Lattice HRIS, beta customer and People Success Award Winner LTSE was able to automate what was once a 75-plus step onboarding process. Now, they deliver a better, more consistent onboarding experience to every employee, with less overhead from HR.
Powerful and Flexible Workflows
Managing workflows is critical to keeping operations smooth, and Lattice HRIS simplifies this process. Whether handling promotions, role changes, or life events, Lattice ensures that tasks are completed efficiently with the right approvals and follow-ups.
HR teams can monitor progress from a single dashboard, customizing workflows to fit company processes or using pre-built templates to get up and running quickly. Managers can trigger workflows with just a few clicks, keeping everything moving smoothly without manual tracking.
Customizable, Intuitive Reporting
Reporting is often the downfall of most HRIS systems. It’s clunky, time-consuming, and overly reliant on manual analysis. Lattice HRIS changes that, where reporting becomes a powerful, time-saving tool. With customizable Employee Snapshots, HR admins can easily travel back in time to see historical, point-in-time views of company data. Want to see how your workforce looked across departments on June 3, 2023? Just input the date, and Lattice will generate an accurate report, with the option to add breakdowns by gender, so you can compare your division’s representation on any given day. You can take it a step further by viewing total employee costs and comparing them across performance metrics, giving a clear picture of spend based on performance.

This data can be sliced by any data: demographic, performance indicator, location, and more. Even better, reporting isn’t locked behind HR. Managers and teams with data access can run their own reports, whether it's promotion histories or key insights. This empowers leaders to make real-time, informed decisions without delays.

Payroll, Time Tracking, and Benefits
Lattice offers multiple options for handling payroll, ensuring flexibility based on your company’s needs. While Lattice Payroll will offer full end-to-end payroll processing when it launches next spring, the Payroll Hub is available now, simplifying payroll with error-free imports and exports. Employees can also access their pay stubs and update bank details in one central portal, cutting down on HR’s administrative workload.
Lattice Time Tracking allows employees to log hours from their web or mobile devices, ensuring overtime is calculated accurately across U.S. states and territories. Managers can review and approve timecards, while admins have full visibility into hours worked and can easily track time entries.
With our upcoming integration with Employee Navigator, managing benefits will also become more streamlined, offering employees easy access to benefits information and reducing manual work for HR teams.
