Analytics

Compensation

  • Budget visualizations: Added new budget visualizations to help cycle admins and approvers can monitor their spend and progress during the cycle.
  • Table improvements: Admins and approvers can now sort, group, and organize their compensation data within the table view. We’ve also added additional table fields like variable pay and guidance to ensure you can always see what they need. 
  • In-cycle promotions updates: You can now include a New Job Title in addition to the optional job architecture fields and hide the promotion field if a promotion did not occur in the recommender card. We’ve also added a banner to the promotions set-up page that explains the process of running promotions during a compensation cycle. 

Engagement

  • Basic and Strong Anonymity Protection: Admins can now choose between “Basic” or “Strong” anonymity settings for engagement surveys on recently closed or launched surveys. Basic protection protects anonymity by hiding responses from groups that are below the anonymity threshold. Strong protection fully protects groups smaller than the minimum participant threshold against indirect identification. To see if this update is available for your survey, go into the settings section.

Performance

  • CSV exports can now include all custom attributes: When a user downloads any CSV within a review cycle and selects “Include all fields,” exports will now include all custom attributes that the user has access to.
  • Progress tracking and reminders in Talent Reviews: Admins can now see the number of talent reviews submitted vs. outstanding during an active Talent Review. Admins can also send reminders to reviewers who have not yet completed their talent reviews.

Platform

  • Changed "Employees" to "Directory" in the admin left navigation: We’ve updated our terminology to reflect the diverse nature of modern teams, accommodating contract and contingent workers alongside traditional employees.
  • Improvements to group creation: Before, Lattice users could create a dynamic group based on manager, department, job function, user type, or custom multi-select/multi-choice field. Admins can now create groups using any field!. 
  • Filter bar enhancements:  We’ve updated the way our filter bars look and feel to unify the experience and drive consistency while also helping to reduce clicks for more efficient filtering. 

Analytics

  • New Analytics Explorer: We've revamped the Analytics Explorer to enhance navigation and scalability and introduced new data options. As part of this release, controls have been shifted to the left-hand side of the chart for improved accessibility, users can now change the x-axis to any field, allowing for more customizable visualizations, and we’ve introduced a new look and feel for the Explorer. 
  • Automated Rules Reviews Results: Admins can now view results for Automated Rules Reviews without the need for manual exporting and reconciliation. This new experience offers distribution charts, heat maps, and average score views. Additionally, admins can break down and filter results by different attributes, including time, and can download results as PNG or exportable data.

  • Lattice AI Engagement Insights: Admins and engagement admins can now quickly analyze survey results with AI-generated insights. As soon as a survey concludes, these insights will help identify opportunities to enhance engagement levels within your company.

Performance

  • Talent Reviews Enhancements: Users can now bulk upload reviewees and assign reviewers via CSV during setup, view current and past talent review packets, and access past performance review packets in the employee context panel. Additionally, customers can add past talent review or performance review ratings to the calibration table for context and bulk apply calibration group settings.
  • Lattice AI Feedback Summaries: Managers can access comprehensive AI-generated summaries of all feedback their reports received over the past 3, 6, or 12 months. These summaries aim to assist managers in writing more informed reviews while reducing recency bias. Both features are available on an opt-in basis, requiring activation by the company's super admin.

  • Updates to Roles & Permissions Pages: We released several visual design, UX, and content updates to the roles and permissions pages, including new sidebar previews and interaction patterns on the custom role page and improved permissions names and descriptions. 
  • Minor changes to the User Registration page: The Lattice user registration page now respects a company's field-level permission settings, ensuring hidden fields (e.g., job titles) do not appear for new hires to fill out. This update also includes slight UI tweaks for consistency with the rest of the product.

Analytics

  • Share Reports: Admins and managers can now share reports they've created within the Analytics Explorer. Shared reports will respect the data permissions of the recipient. 
  • Save and Schedule Reports for Managers: Managers can now save reports that they’ve created within the Analytics Explorer and schedule them to be delivered via email on a regular cadence. This functionality already exists for Admins.

  • Historic Data Imports: Customers can import previous engagement survey results into Lattice for consolidated data and comparative analysis.
  • Comment Assignment for Onboarding & Exit: Admins can now assign comments left on onboarding and exit surveys, facilitating action and accountability.

  • Lattice Talent Reviews: A new tool to conduct, top-down assessments of employee performance, potential, risk and impact, with built-in calibration and adaptable templates.  ratings.
  • Org Chart Reviews Progress Reporting: Managers can now see which employees haven't finished reviews, are missing reviews, and send reminders to ensure timely completion.
  • Filter by Job Attributes in Calibrations: Three job-related filter fields (function, level, type) added to performance review calibrations for more focused discussions.
  • Employee Fields in Calibration Exports: Employee fields (default and custom) are now included in the "download current ratings" CSV export for calibrations.

  • Sorting & Filtering on Admin Directory: Admins can now sort and filter the Admin Directory to easily manage their workforce.

  • Executive Dashboard – Cycle Submission Tracking & Reminders:  Easily view submission progress via the executive dashboard and send reminders to those with outstanding tasks.
  • Share Outs – Direct Managers Sharing Statements: When it’s time to distribute compensation statements, you can now share them with direct managers first — even if they weren’t the compensation recommender.

Engagement

  • New Benchmarks: We’ve refreshed our engagement survey benchmarks so you can compare your survey results against the most up-to-date industry averages. We’ve added five new benchmarks for financial services, retail, media, and healthcare. 
  • AI-Powered Engagement Surveys: Our newest Lattice AI capability automatically synthesizes engagement survey comments to deliver key trends, summaries, and recommendations on how to take action. 
  • Comment Assignment for Onboarding & Exit Surveys: Admins can now assign comments left on Onboarding & Exit surveys! By assigning leaders to directly address comments, admins can help facilitate action from survey results.

  • Performance Trends: Admins can now view review rating questions within the Analytics Explorer and can compare trends over time and across different cycles. Use Performance Trends to monitor employee performance across tenure and uncover internal patterns without the manual work.

  • Field-Level Permissions (FLP): FLP allows admins to specify exactly who can access and modify specific employee fields, bolstering data security and integrity. With FLP, admins wield greater control over data access, moving beyond broad visibility settings like “admins only” or “managers only.”
  • Enhancements to Calibration Exports: We’ve updated our performance calibration CSV exports, including new columns for the x-axis, y-axis, and box name. Additionally, users can export attributes added to the calibration table.

  • Review and Correct Compensation Data More Quickly: We've enhanced the Data Check page for compensation cycles to efficiently identify and rectify inconsistencies, saving admins valuable time while managing sensitive information.
  • Upload Compensation Data for All Employees: Now, compensation admins can upload data for all employees, including those with a created or invited status in the cycle. This ensures a seamless process from start to finish.

Engagement

  • Share Results for Onboarding and Exit Surveys: Employee engagement isn’t just your HR team’s business. Admins can now easily share survey results across the organization, fostering transparency and alignment.
  • Duplicate Onboarding Surveys: Setting up new surveys shouldn't be a hassle. Admins can now duplicate onboarding surveys with ease, streamlining the setup process effortlessly. Visit our Help Center for more.
  • Include eNPS Questions in Onboarding and Exit Surveys: Employee sentiment is valuable at every stage of the employee experience. Discover how employees feel at the beginning and end of their tenure at your company by adding eNPS questions during these transitional moments.

  • Report on In-Progress Reviews: You asked, and we delivered: Lattice admins can now monitor performance review progress across managers and departments. With detailed progress reports readily available, identifying teams needing additional support or reminders is now a breeze.
  • Simplify Your Managers’ Experience: Navigating the review process should be intuitive for managers. That's why we've revamped our user interface to make it easier for them to complete performance reviews and share results. Now, managers can find all the tasks related to their reviews process in one place, so they can complete performance reviews for their teams easier and faster than ever before.
  • Set Word Count Limits in Reviews: To optimize readability and consistency, admins can now set word count limits for reviews. This not only saves time for HR teams and managers but also promotes fairness across the board.

  • Send Reminders in Automated-Rules Reviews: Amins can now easily send reminders to all reviewers within an automated rule. Similar to Org Chart Reviews, admins can send notifications to all reviewers who have not started their review, have started drafting their reviews, or both.
  • Manager & Employee Reviews Navigation Enhancement: We’re updating the left navigation within Reviews to make it easier for managers and employees to see all the tasks they need to do in a single place. As tasks are finalized, the navigation updates with a helpful checkmark to indicate when work has been completed. 
  • Word Count Limits in Reviews: To optimize readability and consistency, admins can now set word count limits for reviews. Word count limits provide clear expectations and a more consistent, fair process for employees.

  • Recommended templates and questions now available in French and German: You can now access Recommend Templates & Questions in French, Canadian French, German, and UK English to use in your performance reviews.
  • Copy recommended templates and questions: We've made a small change to how you use recommended templates and questions – now you must copy these templates and questions directly into your own template or question bank in order to use them.

  • Updates to the Admin navigation experience: We optimized the Admin navigation experience to ensure you can easily find the information and products that matter the most to you and your organization. This release included changes to some of the order of the left navigation sections for Admins and minor nomenclature updates, so you can access all the pages and content you are familiar with faster than ever before.

  • Support for Hourly to Salaried Promotions: You can now specify when an employee is being promoted from an hourly or salaried role (or vice versa) so that we correctly display their pay in the cycle (hourly rate vs. annualized). Learn more
