What’s New in Lattice Engagement: First-Half of 2025 Highlights

Announcements
August 7, 2025

The first half of 2025 was a big one for Lattice Engagement. We introduced powerful new features to make collecting, analyzing, and acting on employee sentiment easier and more impactful. We also made it faster for strategic HR leaders to access the insights they need to drive meaningful change across their organizations.

From presentation-ready deck exports to expanded survey configuration options, here’s everything that’s new in Lattice Engagement.

Smarter, More Flexible Surveys

Surveys should work for you, not the other way around. We get it — they should deliver clear, actionable insights. That’s why we released new capabilities to give HR teams more control over what questions are asked and how responses are captured.

  • Skip Logic: Branch questions based on employee responses. This lets you dive deeper into pain points without making every singleemployee answer unnecessary questions.
  • Multi-Select Questions: Sometimes one answer just isn’t enough. You can now allow employees to select multiple responses, giving you richer feedback and clearer context.
  • Editable eNPS Questions: Customize how your eNPS question is phrased while still keeping your score history and benchmarks intact. Flexibility + data? You can have both.
  • Shareable Survey Links: Whether shared via Slack, email, or QR code, employees can access the survey with a universal link, making it easier than ever to encourage participation. This update is especially useful for teams with deskless employees, allowing them to take surveys directly from their phones without needing a participant-specific URL.
Lattice Engagement's skip logic feature. A rule is being applied to show the question “My manager makes decisions effectively” only if the respondent selects 1, 2, 3, or 4 for the question “I feel comfortable asking my manager for help.” Options to cancel or add the rule are shown at the bottom.
Skip Logic: customize survey flow by adding rules that show follow-up questions based on employee responses.

Slide Decks in Seconds, Not Hours

We heard you: turning engagement data into board- or exec-ready presentations was a time sink. So we fixed it. With PPT Exports for engagement surveys, you get access to a clean, editable, and ready-to-use deck of your results. Tailor by department, demographic, or custom fields. Perfect for meetings, board updates, or quick-share moments. And the data in the deck mirrors what you see in-platform, making it easier to align with stakeholders and avoid back-and-forth on what the numbers actually mean.

So next time you get pinged 30 minutes before an executive meeting (we’ve all been there), you’ll be ready to wow the crowd. Goodbye copy-paste and Hello instant alignment!

The export panel shows options for a company-wide summary, additional summaries by filters like performance tier, work location, role, and office location, and detailed breakdowns by tenure and department. A blue "Export PPT" button is visible at the bottom.
Instantly export engagement results into presentation-ready decks, customized by team, role, or location.

Updated Benchmarks That Actually Reflect Your Org

For many organizations, comparing their results against the right peer set is key. Our updated engagement benchmarks give you more accurate, relevant context to help guide decisions across your company.

  • Lattice Benchmarks: Now with 2024 data and a new 750+ employee segment, plus upgraded categories like Healthcare, Financial Services, and Retail that now meet full data criteria.
  • Mercer Benchmarks: Thanks to our partnership with the leading global research firm Mercer, you can compare your engagement data across dozens of industries and regions, all without ever leaving Lattice. We’ve refreshed these benchmarks — they now include data from 2020 through 2024, using Mercer’s 5-year rolling benchmark to provide a reliable view of engagement trends.

Other Small (But Mighty) Improvements Across Engagement

These updates will save your people teams time and bring clarity when you need it most.

  • Delta Score Comparison in Heatmap: Visual indicators (green/red) make it easier to spot trends over time.
  • Department Tags in Comments: Add context to feedback while staying within anonymity settings.
  • Anonymity Indicator: Know which responses are shareable before hitting “publish.”
  • Count of Questions, Comments, and Themes: Get a quick snapshot of volume at a glance.
  • Score Label Simplification: “Agree/Disagree Score” is now just “Score.” Clearer is better.
  • Bar Chart Theme Scores: More intuitive display of respondent counts.
  • Manager of Manager (MoM) Grouping in Heatmap: Organize by MoM without duplicate participant counts.
  • Overall Score Row in Heatmap: Adds high-level context right where you need it.
  • Sorting in Action Planning: Sort by Owner or Type for easier follow-up.
  • Sticky First Row in Heatmap: Navigation made smoother.

Whether you’re designing better surveys, reporting up to leadership, or simply keeping a pulse on employee sentiment, our Engagement updates from the first half of 2025 were built with HR leaders like you in mind: to make your job easier and your insights stronger.
