What is an “RfH Ambassador”?
Ambassadors are members of the Resources for Humans community recognized for their leadership, knowledge, and positive, ongoing community contributions.
Whether it’s speaking, running workshops, writing HR guides, or organizing and contributing to local events, we are always looking for passionate, engaged, and knowledgeable leaders interested in being pillars within our community. Applicants must have been members for at least 6 months and have a positive track record within the community to apply.
The Work
We’re open to any new ideas or suggestions you have for your local chapter, but these are the expectations we have to start.
At minimum:
- 1 meetup for local HR professionals per month
- At least 1 bigger event per quarter of your choice: this could be a panel, workshop, or speaker-led event
- Please keep the community spirit alive by giving a warm welcome to any new members
- If you have an answer, please respond to community members or point them in the right direction
- Make sure all community members follow the RfH Code of Conduct at all times and help us keep our Slack community sales-free!
- Promote RFH events to members of the community and to members of your network
If you're up for more:
- Pitch a topic to our editorial team and we’ll help you bring it to life. Not interested in writing? We’re happy to share your knowledge through a quote or Q&A profile instead.
- Help us plan working sessions where the topic resonates with you. And if you’re interested in being a speaker or want to lead a discussion, let us know!
- Join us as a speaker in Lattice webinars

Of course, there are perks to being an ambassador! In addition to being seen as a leader in the community, we’re offering you the chance to expand your professional network, build your brand as a thought leader, and more.
