  • Review Packet Reordering: We’ve added new flexibility around the way you can order and group questions in review packets at the end of a cycle. Review questions can now be organized by question or by reviewer, making it easier for managers to use the review packet to guide conversations and for employees to digest review feedback. We’re planning an even bigger update to review packets later this spring so stay tuned for more exciting updates! Learn how to share review packets as an admin.
  • Feedback Reactions: Now, when someone receives Praise in Lattice, employees can add Emoji reactions to celebrate their colleagues’ recognition and achievement. Read more about Feedback Reactions.

  • Pronouns in Lattice: Lattice is committed to building a more inclusive platform, and gender pronouns play an important role in creating a welcoming community for members of all gender identities. The "Pronouns" field in Lattice allows users to add their gender pronouns to their Lattice profile and let others know how to refer to them.
  • Revamped Org Chart and Directory Navigation: We have introduced new UX/UI updates to both the org chart page and to org chart cards, including pronouns on cards for employees who have added pronouns, color-coded cards based on department, reporting chain details, horizontal and vertical orientation, and an updated Goals UI. We’ve also added the ability to download your org chart as an image, introduced employee search capabilities within the Org Chart, and made the Org Chart more discoverable with a link from both Home and Company pages. Learn more about how to use the Lattice Org Chart.

  • Calibration Notes: Calibration notes allow admins or session participants to add context, capture meeting discussion, and document final scoring decisions on an individual without having to leave Lattice, which increases the risk of data exposure. Notes can only be seen within the calibration session and won’t appear in the context panel or anywhere else in Lattice (although this is something we are considering in the future). Super admins/calibration admins can grant permissions to session participants to add/view notes. Read more about adding and managing calibration notes.
  • Calibration Tagging: Now, when reviewees fall between groups, scores, promotions, or just need extra attention, calibration tags are an easy way to add structured data for sorting/filtering, so you can easily manage the next steps or flag outliers. This can help with retention risk and promotion situations. Learn more about how to create an assign a tag to a reviewee.

  • Filter Reviews by Start Date: Now we've included the attribute Start Date as a field that can be used to filter and select specific employees when determining who should participate in the upcoming review cycle. This is only applicable to org chart reviews and is not yet available for project-based reviews and automated rules.
Platform
  • Pronouns in Lattice: Lattice is committed to building a more inclusive platform, and gender pronouns play an important role in creating a welcoming community for members of all gender identities. The "Pronouns" field in Lattice allows users to add their gender pronouns to their Lattice profile and let others know how to refer to them. You can now add pronouns in the pronouns field in both the registration form and in your account settings, and edit your pronouns at any time in account settings. If you choose to add pronouns to this field, they will be displayed in various places across Lattice next to your name. Start using your pronouns in Lattice.
  • Custom Attributes in ADP Integration: We are bringing the ADP HRIS integration to feature parity with our other HRIS integrations by allowing mutual ADP and Lattice clients to sync custom attributes from ADP to Lattice. Learn more about the Lattice integration with ADP.

  • Calibrated Rating Questions: Lattice previously had two different classifications for scoring-type questions: rating questions that could be calibrated, and scored attributes that could be used for things like skills-based assessments. Now, we've combined all functionality into a single rating question type, calibrated rating questions, that allows all questions to be calibrated after reviews are submitted. This gives People Teams more flexibility to ensure that all scores are submitted fairly across their organization. Learn more about calibrated rating questions in review cycles.
  • Custom Attributes within Calibration: Often, it's important to include job level, location, and other custom attributes about individuals to help guide calibration conversations. Now, admins can add all of these kinds of custom attributes to the calibration table, giving People teams a more complete picture of individuals as they are evaluating scores.
  • Begin Calibration During a Review: Previously, HR administrators couldn't begin the calibration process until all reviews were submitted by each participant in the cycle. We've now given admins the ability to begin calibration before the review cycle is closed, saving valuable time for the People team and managers who have finished their reviews early.
  • Admin-level Visibility for Non-Admins in Calibration: During calibration sessions, it's important to bring many different stakeholders in the room including managers, department heads, and other leaders outside the People team. Now, those individuals can be given specific admin visibility permissions for calibration sessions, making calibration smoother for all participants in Lattice.

  • Autosave Update Comments: With Lattice Updates, managers can make comments on their direct reports’ progress to keep the conversation going outside of 1:1 meetings. Now, Lattice will automatically save comments in a draft state in Updates before managers submit them.
Platform
  • Improved People Navigation: Since we unveiled Lattice’s Elevated Design in the spring, we continue to fine-tune the experience based on the helpful feedback we’re hearing from customers. With this update, we’ve revamped the People Navigation to make it easier to see all your 1:1 relationships alongside your personal profile.
  • Disconnect Employee External IDs: If your team is switching from one HRIS provider to another, we’ve just made it even easier to swap integrations in Lattice. As you’re disconnecting from your HRIS integration to enable another, you can now tell Lattice to remove external IDs associated with your employees so they can be re-synced with your new system.

  • Comment and Filter Toggles for Engagement Survey Views: After wrapping up an Engagement survey, it's important to get the right data into the hands of people managers throughout your organization. Now, when you’re sharing survey results with Lattice's pre-built role-based views – manager, manager-of-managers, and department head – you now have the flexibility to turn off comment visibility for the group of views and/or turn off additional filtering capabilities. Learn more about using these new toggles.
  • Anonymous Comment Replies for Pulse: We released anonymous comment replies for engagement surveys, and now we're extending that capability to pulse surveys, too. Pulse surveys are a key way for employees to share regular feedback about how they're feeling in the workplace, and with comment replies, admins can engage with that feedback directly. Enable anonymous comment replies in Pulse.
  • Toggle Comment Visibility: Additionally, admins can now choose whether or not comments are visible in custom views for surveys. This helps admins ensure that comments are only visible to the individuals on the team who should see them.
Grow
  • Growth Area Drafts: Employees can now workshop their growth area in Grow before publishing it for their manager to see. Drafts are auto-saved as employees fill out the growth areas in Grow and before they are published, draft growth areas are only viewable by the person who created them. Draft growth areas are not visible in other parts of the product, such as in growth area reporting.
  • Track Templates: Building tracks from scratch can be difficult, but with track templates, we're giving Grow admins a head-start. Our library of track templates cover a wide range of common job functions developed by the People teams at Lattice, our customers, and the broader Lattice community. Start building tracks with templates in Grow.

  • Competency Type Rating Questions in Review Cycle Analytics: Companies leveraging both Lattice Grow and Reviews can now add competency-type rating questions to review cycle analytics. This allows admins, managers, and executives to include competencies alongside other rating questions, making review cycles a more complete view of employee performance. Learn more about creating competency rating questions and using them in analytics.
  • Weighted Scores in Review Cycle Analytics: But that's not all! We have a second addition to review cycle analytics – weighted scores. Now, those with access to review cycle analytics can also view weighted scores in the bar chart, 9-box, and heatmap views.
  • Rich Text Formatting: Previously, Lattice users were limited to simple plain text when sharing feedback. We have now enabled more formatting and organization options directly in the feedback text box. This update also includes formatting the style feedback in Lattice, emails, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
Platform
  • SCIM Server Enablement + API Keys generation: Lattice HR and IT Admins can now manage their SCIM integration from the Integrations page as well as generate the API Keys from its page without having to contact Lattice Customer Care. This makes it much easier and faster for customers to send data to our SCIM server with the right credentials (API keys). Currently, Okta, OneLogin and Sapling are the three external services that we support.
  • Gusto Integration: We're thrilled to welcome Gusto to our native integration ecosystem. Lots of Lattice customers rely on Gusto for their HRIS needs, and we've now made it easier to get started with Lattice using Gusto to directly import and regularly sync employee information. Enable the Gusto integration with Lattice.

  • Track Groups: Particularly for companies with large workforces or a huge number of career tracks, it's helpful to organize them to make exploring those career opportunities easy for employees. Now in Grow, admins can create groups for tracks. Whether you're grouping by department or other category, groups make navigating career opportunities simple. Learn more about using Track Groups.
  • Job Level Visibility: We've introduced two new visibility settings for Lattice Grow admins to give more control over how employees can view each other's information in Grow. In Grow admin settings, admins can now select whether other employees can see an individual's job level when writing reviews or sharing feedback. They can also choose whether employees can see custom attributes if they are connected to tracks. Both settings are on by default. Take a look at the new Grow visibility settings.

  • Review Analytics for Managers and Executives: We’ve given managers greater access to the data and insights so they can become the best leaders they can be. Managers and managers-of-managers can now use filters and see different visualizations like 9-box and heatmap in review results for their direct and indirect reports. Learn more about how to use Review Cycle Analytics to gather insights about your employees.
  • Direct Report Recommended Talking Points: When building a 1:1 agenda with their manager, direct reports now have access to Lattice's set of recommended talking points to make it easy to stay on track and ask the right questions. Direct reports can select recommended talking points and add them to their agendas directly from the 1:1s screen. Explore our recommended talking points in the Help Center.
