In Search of Humanity
The world is at an inflection point. In America, the pandemic is shining a bright light on existing vulnerabilities in the healthcare system, particularly the disparities experienced by poor and black and brown people. Compounding this challenge is the widespread recognition of systemic racism triggered by the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police. Together, these events are causing us to ask some serious questions about who we are and what we value. While governments have a role in addressing these challenges, corporate responsibility must take on a new meaning if America has any hope to be fairer, more just, and more human.
In this session, Dr. Conrad will outline how we got to this point and what it will take to move us towards a more diverse, equitable and inclusive future.
