My name is Ashley Lekwauwa (Lehk-WAH-WAH). I’m an HR/People Operations consultant based in Brooklyn, NY with 10+ years of experience in scaling organizations. I specialize in building HR functions from the ground up and coaching leaders on their pressing people issues. I enjoy partnering with organizations from 10-100 that want to prioritize getting people operations right but aren’t quite ready for a full-time HR leader.Through the lens of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, I design and implement solutions that are compliant and context-specific.
Fractional engagement: I function as an extension of your leadership team in an interim capacity for a flat monthly fee and at a fraction of what it would cost to hire a full-time leader.Project engagements: I lead the execution of a well scoped project (employee handbook, PEO implementation, etc) and partner with stakeholders as needed.
Advisory engagements: I provide on-demand advice, coaching, and thought partnership across a broad range of HR topics to a dedicated HR lead or an org's leadership team.
