We’re rounding out September with improvements across Goals, Reviews, Analytics, and Payroll. Plus, we are introducing brand new integrations to make it easier to connect Lattice with the tools your team relies on. Whether you’re launching performance reviews, visualizing compensation trends, or simplifying goal tracking, this month’s updates are all about driving flexibility across your people strategies.

Connect Your Tech Stack with New HRIS & Payroll Integrations

At Lattice, we believe you should have the freedom to use the tools that work best for your business. This month, we’ve expanded our HRIS and Payroll integration ecosystem to help you streamline device logistics with IT, stay audit-ready with compliance, and automate 401(k) retirement plan deductions. 

  • Allwhere + Lattice HRIS: Keep employee records in sync so IT can proactively ship and retrieve equipment on time — no extra forms needed
  • Drata + Lattice HRIS: Automatically pull core personnel fields from Lattice and enrich identities via your IdP to power continuous compliance (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
  • Guideline 401(k) + Lattice Payroll: Two-way sync connects HRIS roster changes with 401(k) enrollment and feeds contribution and deduction data to Payroll for accurate pay runs.

Explore and Navigate Goals with More Ease

We’ve launched the second phase of the Goals UI/UX Refresh, focused on improving how users view, update, and complete goals, all within a more flexible and modern side panel. Here’s what’s changing:

  • Modernized side panel design: Updated layout with clearer hierarchy and structure for easier navigation.
  • Enhanced sharing: Share links directly from the panel and choose to open goals in a modal or new tab. Plus, enjoy horizontal scrolling to keep the Explore table accessible.
  • Expanded side panel controls: Perform all key actions without leaving the panel, including editing fields, updating progress, viewing timelines, and accessing audit logs (based on role). 
  • Streamlined goal completion: Ending goals is now part of the standard update flow, letting users mark goals complete at any progress level and leave a note.

Make Reviews Easier to Complete 

We’ve continued to improve the Review form experience by introducing horizontal layouts for text-based rating questions (like "Exceeds Expectations" or "Needs Improvement”). This update is based on customer feedback and brings cleaner layouts and smoother reviewer experiences.

  • If space allows, rating options now display side-by-side (horizontally), making forms easier to scan and reducing vertical scroll.
  • When options are too long or numerous, the system automatically switches to a vertical layout for readability.

Get Clearer Insights with Analytics Enhancements

We’ve made it easier to visualize key trends and better understand how goals and compensation evolve across your organization. 

  • Base Pay Visualizations in Charts: HRIS customers can now pull and visualize employee base pay over time to support comp strategy and ensure pay equity. 
  • Refined “Updated Goals” Measure: In Charts, updates are now attributed to all employees with updated goals, not just the individual who made the change, resulting in more accurate metrics.
