When teams are small, working together is relatively easy. Everyone knows what they should be working on and if they don’t they just ask. But as companies grow and move out of one room, teams get siloed and individuals get lost. Communication and alignment gets harder.
Companies try a variety of solutions - email status updates, task management tools, all hands calls, manager meetings, etc - to maintain transparency and keep everyone aligned. But things still get lost and employees get frustrated.
A core element of transparency and alignment is communication. Over the past years, Slack has had an incredible impact and we believe Slack will be continue to be at the core of team communication. That’s why we’re excited to team up with Slack to help make work better.
We believe that by working together we can change the workplace in the 21st century. We want to create a world where transparency is the norm -- where employees know exactly what they need to be working on and have the information they need to make the right the decision. We want to empower people, so that companies can accomplish more.
Our current users at Lattice use our Slack integration to see goals updates and receive weekly reminders to share their progress - the response so far has been great.
But this is just the beginning. We’re continuing to deepen our integration with Slack to include everything from goal updates to continuous feedback to weekly check-ins and we’ll be sure to update the community as we make progress.
