How Lattice is Building Towards the Future of Continuous Performance

Most performance management tools were built for a world where work moved slowly enough that you could reconstruct it months after the fact and still make good decisions. AI has changed that world, and HR leaders everywhere are facing a new reality.
Today, the teams that win are the ones who have the tools to capture what’s actually happening in the flow of work, understand it in real time, and act on it while there’s still time to change the outcome.
Lattice’s Fall/Winter ‘26 innovation is built around this new reality. Built with feedback from thousands of our HR customers, we are designing new products and features to continuously capture performance right where your employees work, empower you to turn that data into workforce intelligence that teams can act on, and give every company the control and flexibility they need to work the way they actually operate.
Here’s what’s coming this second half of the year.
Capture Performance in The Flow of Work
Performance data is only valuable if it actually gets captured. Today, however, that is becoming increasingly difficult. Countless tools mean countless context switches, which turns into friction and inconsistent habits. Our upcoming innovation is designed to eliminate that friction for employees, managers, and HR, so you can capture those insights as they are happening.
Auto-Updates
Auto-Updates will make it easier for your employees to build a consistent habit of capturing and sharing work as it happens. Today, thousands of the world’s top companies use Lattice Updates to track their wins, challenges, and progress, and this new functionality will take the product to the next level.
Instead of starting from scratch every week, employees can pull context directly from their connected tools, review an AI-drafted update, and submit in minutes. Managers get a current, evidence-grounded view of team progress. And all of that context carries forward to support stronger performance reviews down the road.
For this first initial release, Auto-Updates will connect to Jira, Github, Linear, and Notion.
Agentic Slack App
The enhanced app will take Auto-Updates a step further by bringing Lattice directly into the flow of work. Every week, Lattice will surface an auto-drafted update inside Slack, built from the connected tools and recent work. Employees will be able to review and refine their updates through a natural conversation, and can submit them without ever leaving Slack. This means a stronger record of progress built week by week, where work actually happens.

Lattice Meetings
“When are you building group meetings?” We heard you loud and clear – and this fall, we are expanding to support every meeting on your calendar. With Lattice Meetings, you’ll get a unified calendar view that will bring all your calls into one place, with the Lattice AI Agent automatically capturing notes, action items, and summaries.
But the real unlock isn't just having all your calls in one place; it’s what happens to the data afterward. Thanks to the Lattice AI Agent, the context generated in every conversation connects back to performance. Plus, searchability across past meetings means that when review season comes around, the evidence is already there.

Turn Performance Data Into Workforce Intelligence
Capturing performance data is only half of the equation. The other half is making it useful and turning those critical signals into insights HR leaders can act on. That's workforce intelligence: knowing which top performers need to be retained, spotting rating patterns across a review cycle, and making business decisions with the data that already lives in Lattice.
Calibration Signals
Calibration sessions are where some of the most consequential talent decisions get made. Who is promoted? Who becomes part of the bench for a succession plan? Who needs a little more support? Too often, though, facilitators and calibration participants walk in underprepared, ot knowing who and what to discuss. With Calibration Signals, teams can finally let AI do the heavy lifting so they can focus on the human decisions.
Before every session, AI generates a pre-read for each calibration group that surfaces which employees are potentially over- or under-rated relative to their performance signals, so leaders can prioritize who actually needs discussion. During the session, those signals stay visible right where decisions are being documented.
The goal is not to automate performance decisions, but to make sure your team walks in with the right information and walks out with well-grounded decisions.

Lattice MCP Updates
This past summer, we set a new category milestone as the first performance management platform to officially launch an MCP in frontier AI marketplaces. Now, we are expanding our MCP capabilities, continuing to expand how and where your team can access Lattice data.
This fall, you'll be able to connect Lattice MCP directly through Glean's plug-in marketplace, and submit updates, feedback, and goals from ChatGPT, Claude, Slackbot, or Glean. EU data residency support also expands global access to more Lattice customers.
This winter, we are also building new uses for Admins, so they can take their data a step further. Instead of exporting spreadsheets and manually cross-referencing data, admins can ask natural-language questions and get answers grounded in Lattice's people data across performance, goals, and calibration. You’ll be able to analyze review cycle results, identify rating patterns, surface outliers, without ever leaving the conversation.

Build Performance Programs That Fit Your HR Strategy
No two organizations run performance the same way. We are continuing to invest across our core products and workflows this year to reflect that reality, giving teams more control over how their various cycles are configured.
- Improvements to Reviews: Run more confidential and flexible cycles. Disable packet sharing, set different due dates per review direction and group, scope permissions at the cycle level, and give the right people access to the right cycles. Evidence-based drafts are also expanding to more review types, including peer, project, automated, and promotion reviews. Plus, new productivity integrations will make reviews richer.
- Calibrations Updates: Remove friction for larger teams and enterprise orgs. Merge auto-created calibration groups to better reflect your org structure, export a full audit trail of every calibration change, and calibrate across 250+ employees in the box view.
- Compensation Enhancements: Have tighter control over approval chains and more flexibility in how pay is calculated. Configure exactly who is included or excluded in comp approval chains, and calculate pay with support for percentage-based adjustments on base pay and bonus payouts tied to bonus targets.
Expand Your Ecosystem
Lattice's integration ecosystem continues to grow, with new connections built to automatically capture work evidence from the source tools your teams use every day.
- Engineering Integrations (Jira, Linear, GitHub): Pull evidence from tickets, PRs, and project activity directly into Lattice. Draft stronger updates and reviews grounded in real engineering work, and give managers clearer visibility into engineering impact.
- Sales and Marketing Integrations (Salesforce, Asana, Monday.com): Capture wins, milestones, and blockers from the tools your revenue and GTM teams live in. Draft updates and reviews with business context built in, and help managers understand impact across campaigns.
- New HRIS Integrations: Keep people data flowing between Lattice and Rippling, Workday, HiBob, or Paylocity for more accurate reporting on people programs.
