On June 10th in San Francisco, hundreds of People leaders walked into Lattiverse ‘26 for one of the biggest events in the HR industry, all with the same thing on their minds: their employees. Not just the technology reshaping HR but the humans behind it: the managers trying to coach better, the employees who want to grow, and the executives trying to make the right calls during a time of change.

This year’s theme, People + AI, was more than just a tagline. At Lattice, it shapes everything we build. We believe that AI is only as powerful as the people it’s built to support, and that HR leaders are the ones who get to shape what that looks like.

That belief drove everything we announced.

Introducing the Lattice MCP

Your team is already using Claude, ChatGPT, and other LLM tools. Now, Lattice plugs directly into those conversations. The new Lattice MCP pulls in the performance data you’ve already collected: reviews, 1:1 notes, feedback, goals, updates, and makes it available right inside your AI chat interface.

Whether you want to draft a review with real performance context or summarize coaching insights by theme, Lattice MCP will make it easier for you to access your talent data in your flow of work.

And that’s just where we are starting. Next, you’ll be able to access engagement and goal data so you can build board decks and program analysis with full context.

Available now in early access for current customers.

The Lattice MCP puts all your data at your fingertips.

AI that helps managers (and employees) show up better

Lattice AI Agent in 1:1s — Coming this summer

Great coaching has historically been reserved for executives and senior leaders. At Lattice, we believe that growth should happen every day and that coaching should be democratized. And the Lattice AI Agent is coming soon to 1:1s to make that a reality, bringing personalized coaching to every employee regardless of level. The Agent will also capture detailed recaps, action items, and talking points. It builds the kind of rich meeting context that will make performance reviews feel less like a guessing game and more like a real reflection of someone’s growth and performance.

The Lattice AI Agent provides contextual summaries and coaching insights for every 1:1.

Evidence-based Review Drafts — Coming this summer

Performance review cycles can be some of the most critical and stressful HR processes. Every reviewer, whether it's a manager or an IC, usually starts every cycle from the same place: a blank text box and a vague memory of the last two months. The Lattice Agent will change that starting this summer, with evidence-based review drafts for every question, grounded in real performance context. The Agent will pull real Lattice data from 1:1s, goals, feedback, updates, growth, and prior reviews, generating drafts that are more grounded in data than recency bias.

Evidence-based review drafts pull from real performance data so every evaluation is grounded in what actually happened, not just what's top of mind.

Voice-to-Text — Available now

Not everyone processes their thoughts best by typing. For many managers, the best coaching moments happen in conversation. Voice-to-text brings that same ease of conversation to Lattice, letting users speak directly into the Lattice AI Agent and have their words instantly converted to text. Whether you are asking for career advice or want a recap of your recent 1:1s, you no longer have to slow down to type it out when interacting with the Agent.

Auto-drafted Updates — Coming later this year

Status updates are one of those things everyone agrees are valuable, yet almost everyone struggles with writing them. The blank page, the context switching, the pressure to summarize weeks of work in a few clear sentences; it all adds up. Later this year, the Lattice AI Agent will help employees turn rough notes or scattered thoughts into clear, polished updates that accurately reflect what is happening. It can draw on Lattice context from 1:1s, goals, as well as productivity tools, to make updates easier to write and more grounded in real work.

Turn a week's worth of haphazard notes into performance-driven clarity with Lattice.

Clearer visibility into what’s happening across your org

Instant Data Visualization — Coming this summer

Data is only useful if you can actually get to it. Today, pulling a chart or running a report in Lattice means navigating to the right place, building the view, and sharing it with stakeholders. Starting this summer, the Lattice AI Agent will be able to access and pull Lattice charts on demand, surfacing instant visualizations directly in the conversation. Use the Search Bar, ask a question, and get a chart… it’s that simple! If you are a people leader who moves fast, needs real-time data for critical business decisions, or just has a last-minute presentation (we’ve all been there), this one’s for you.

Ask and you shall receive: charts that help you tell better stories with your people data.

Productivity Integrations — Rolling out throughout the year

Performance doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens in the projects your teams are shipping, the tickets they’re closing, and the work they are doing every day across the tools your organization already runs on.  This year, you will be able to connect Lattice to your favorite productivity tools, beginning with integrations with key systems like Jira, so that the work signals that matter the most for performance are visible within the flow of work. We get it; no one likes disconnected systems telling different stories. It’s why we are investing in this, so you and your teams can have a full picture of how employees are performing in and out of Lattice.

AI Leverage Insights — Rolling out throughout the year

Lattice is also introducing AI Leverage Insights, a new workforce intelligence capability designed to help leaders answer the question that token counts alone can’t: “Is AI actually improving work?” By connecting AI usage with performance data, manager feedback, output signals, and more, AI Leverage Insights provides leaders with a quality signal for AI adoption, not just a volume metric. It helps identify where AI is accelerating high-quality work, where activity is not translating into impact, and what organizations can scale to drive meaningful business outcomes.

Connect AI usage with performance data to see where AI is actually improving work.

Smarter calibrations, better meetings, and less friction

Running calibrations, keeping meetings productive, and staying on top of status updates are some of the most time-consuming parts of the people management cycle. This year, we're tackling all three.

Group Meetings — Coming this fall

1:1s are just one piece of how managers connect with their teams. Stand-ups, project check-ins, skip-levels, ad-hoc calls matter too, and they deserve the same structure and focus. This fall, Lattice Meetings is expanding beyond 1:1s so you can run all your team meetings in one place. And the Lattice AI Agent will be able to join, providing AI-powered recaps, capturing action items, and assigning them to the right people.

Run standups, skip-levels, and ad-hoc team calls in Lattice, with the AI Agent joining to capture recaps and surface action items.

Auto-create Calibration Groups — Coming this summer

Ask any HR ops leader, and they’ll tell you the same thing: setting up calibration groups manually is one of those tasks that shouldn't take as long as it does. Admins have to build groups from scratch, cross-reference employee data, and make adjustments along the way before the actual calibration work begins. Starting this summer, admins will be able to auto-generate calibration groups based on employee attributes like department, manager, or custom fields, and then fine-tune from there. It’s a powerful workflow that will save admins, especially those with a large number of employees, an indescribable amount of time.

Create calibration groups with the click of a button.

Calibration Insights — Coming later this year

Even the most well-run calibration sessions can miss things. When you're reviewing hundreds of employees across multiple groups, it's easy for rating patterns to drift without anyone catching it in the room. That’s why we are introducing AI-powered calibration insight, designed to surface those moments. When a rating looks like an outlier relative to broader population patterns, it will flag it and suggest discussion questions to help facilitators and reviewers pressure-test whether that rating is truly fair, evidence-based, and consistent. The goal is not to override human judgment, but to ensure it’s applied every time, not just when someone happens to notice.

Supercharge your calibration sessions with AI-powered support.

Inspiring Sessions Place HR at Center Stage

Innovation is about more than technology. Without the experience and best practices needed to put it to good use, even the most cutting-edge software falls short.

At Lattiverse, attendees heard from the ones doing the work: HR. The day’s agenda was full of thought-provoking breakouts, featuring over 30 of the industry’s most inspiring leaders — including those from household-name brands like Away, Pinterest, and FanDuel. Moderators’ chairs were filled by practicing people leaders, keeping the conversation relevant and actionable. All substance, no fluff.

For instance, in Making DEIB Impossible to Cut, attendees heard from four leaders putting in the work to make equity and belonging a meaningful, embedded part of company culture and infrastructure. Later that afternoon, in Permission to Fail: Growing Talent in the Age of AI, leaders from Writer, Ethena, and FanDuel shared how to navigate the line between encouraging thoughtful adoption and anarchic token maxxing.

And don’t even get us started on the lively discussion witnessed in Building Your Personal Brand, where three HR leaders explained how thought leadership is about much more than being LinkedIn-famous.

Those are just three samples to whet your appetite. In the coming weeks, we’ll share recordings from the rest of our sessions. For the full-course meal, register for the Best of Lattiverse series
