August was a big month at Lattice! We released Lattice MCP to our EMEA customers, added pivot tables and engagement scores to Analytics, and shipped other improvements designed to give admins more control.

Let’s dive in and explore August’s releases!

Expand Your AI Capabilities with Lattice MCP

When we launched Lattice MCP in July, US customers could bring their Lattice data into Claude, ChatGPT, and Slack. This month, we extended that to our EMEA customers with EU data residency, so any team working in that region can now adopt MCP with confidence that their data stays there.

We also added three new functionalities to our MCP Server: Submit Updates, Request Feedback, and Submit Feedback. Employees and managers can now take action in Lattice right from their preferred AI tools.

Lattice MCP is now available to EMEA customers with EU data residency.

Analyze Your Data Faster

Two Analytics updates this month make it significantly easier to spot patterns and compare results without leaving Lattice.

Pivot Tables in Charts & Embedded Analytics changes how comparisons render. Today, selecting a Compare By and a Breakdown dimension flattens results into a list; this can be useful data but hard to scan. Now those results render as a pivot table instead, with sortable rows and columns, sticky headers, and CSV exports that match the layout. If you've ever found yourself finishing an analysis in Excel because Lattice couldn't show it side by side, you’ll love this update.

Engagement Overall Score in Charts brings engagement survey results into the same Analytics experience you use for everything else. Chart overall scores over time, compare across Exit, Onboarding, and Engagement survey types, and slice results by time, employee fields, or product dimensions using the same Compare By and Breakdown tools you already know.

Compare performance scores across departments and age groups side by side in a pivot table layout.

Have More Control Over Notifications and Permissions

A few updates this month give admins better ways to manage access, notifications, and org-wide settings.

  • Notification Settings Improvements: Admins now have one centralized settings page for every customizable notification across the platform, organized by product. For each notification, choose whether it's on or off by default and whether employees can override that default for their own preferences.
  • Exclusions in Targeted Permissions: Admins can now define who a role should not have access to. Add an exclusion to a targeted permission to carve out specific users or subgroups from an otherwise broad set. A common example: giving an HR team access to review data across the org while keeping each member's own reviews private.
  • Separate Values by Group: Admins can now configure company values for a specific group instead of applying them company-wide. Employees see both their group-specific and company-wide values wherever values appear. This is useful for large orgs with distinct departments where different values actually apply.
  • Google Calendar 1:1 Links & Write Permissions: Lattice users can now push their 1:1 agenda link directly into the Google Calendar invite description so it shows up where managers and ICs actually look before a meeting.

Keep Work Moving with More Flexible Workflows

We’ve also made it easier to handle the edge cases and corrections that oftentimes come up mid-cycle.

  • Feedback Acknowledgment: Giving private feedback has always felt one-way. With Feedback Acknowledgment, admins can now require employees to acknowledge private feedback they receive. Once acknowledged, the author is notified.
  • Reopen & Delete Submitted Promotion Nominations: Admins can now send any submitted nomination back to Draft at any point in the cycle. The nominating manager gets a task, can update the packet, and resubmit. Nominations that shouldn't exist can be permanently deleted. Every reopen and delete is recorded in the Audit Log.
  • Merging Auto-created Calibration Groups: Auto-create gives admins a fast starting point, but the generated groups don't always match how a company actually wants to run sessions. Admins can now merge multiple groups into one, either combining and removing the originals, or keeping them while creating a new combined group.

Reopen or delete a submitted promotion nomination at any cycle status directly from the nominee row.
