A New Chapter Begins at Lattice

Earlier today, Lattice CEO Sarah Franklin sent the following note to Lattice employees.

Dear Latticians,

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Lattice and for me. I am truly honored and humbled to step into the role of CEO. I spent much of the holidays reflecting on this new adventure, and I wanted to share some thoughts and feelings with you.

First and foremost, I want to express my deep admiration for the remarkable accomplishments that Lattice has achieved to date. From its inception, Lattice has been at the forefront of innovation, transforming the way organizations manage their people and drive performance.  Your dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment have not only built a successful company but also positively impacts countless organizations and individuals worldwide. It's inspiring, and I am truly blessed to be a part of this journey.

Our opportunity is immense. We are in a unique position to deliver an incredible HR platform that drives performance, helps companies make the most of their talent, and shapes the future of work.  Our challenge will be one of avoiding indigestion rather than being starved of opportunity. This mission resonates deeply with me, and I am passionate about not only the possibilities that lie ahead but also the impact that we can make on the world. 

Our team and culture are strong. The talent, dedication, and innovative spirit that I have witnessed have really impressed me. You have welcomed me, brainstormed with me, shared stories with me, and so much more in a small amount of time. I am confident that together, we will align, prioritize, and continue to achieve greatness.

Our products are great … and getting greater. We have a strong vision that resonates with people leaders and is prime for the age of AI, as there has never been a more important time to help companies manage people and their performance. Talent put us on the map, HRIS takes us into a platform space, and now we are ripe for more innovation and value creation.  

Our customer community is incredible. Candidly, I was surprised by the overwhelmingly positive inbound notes I received from existing customers on how much they love Lattice. And they love where we are going and our people-centric approach. I have seen this motion in my prior world at Salesforce, and I cannot say enough how much of a game-changer it will be to continue to cultivate our customer community, empower them to do great things and celebrate their success.  

Our goal is clear. We will scale Lattice to new heights — getting new customers, driving existing customers’ success and retention, and ensuring sustainable and profitable growth. By aligning our vision, values, goals, and priorities, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish. Together, we’ll build upon the strong foundation that has been laid. We have a long way to go but it's a hill worth climbing and we have a plan we believe in.

Lastly, I just want to say thank you for the warm welcome I have received from all of you. It is a privilege to lead this remarkable company, and I am committed to earning all of your trust by listening, learning, and making decisions out in the open. Together, we will continue to innovate, drive customer success, and build an incredible company, culture, and community.

I am truly excited about the journey ahead and look forward to this new chapter with all of you.
