This month, we rolled out several exciting enhancements across Performance, 1:1s, Analytics, and HRIS to give People teams more control, visibility, and flexibility. From new employee acknowledgments in performance reviews to smarter integrations and the highly anticipated Lattice Succession Planning, these updates are designed to streamline workflows while supporting compliance and better decision-making at scale.

Get Ahead of Leadership Gaps with Succession Planning

Every organization needs a plan for the future, but too often succession planning is reactive, siloed, and disconnected from the performance data that should inform critical leadership decisions. When key roles open up, teams scramble to fill them, often relying on outdated or incomplete information.

Lattice Succession Planning ensures you’re ready before the gap. Our newest product helps HR leaders proactively identify future leaders, reduce turnover risk, and build a pipeline that supports long-term growth.

Fully integrated into the Calibrations experience, Succession Planning combines performance data (like calibrated review scores and growth areas) with fields for attrition risk, tenure, and succession readiness, giving People teams a strategic, data-rich way to plan for what’s next.

Elevate Your Reviews Process with Employee Signatures

You can now require employees to formally acknowledge their review packets, giving your organization greater visibility, accountability, and compliance.

Admins can choose between two acknowledgment types:

  • Soft acknowledgment: A simple, one-click confirm
  • Formal signature: A typed confirmation with name and timestamp

With this rollout, employees will always be able to view their full review packet before acknowledging. They can also leave optional comments if enabled by the admin (up to 500 characters), giving them the opportunity to add closing context or reflections. All acknowledgment data, like type, timestamp, comments, and name, is captured in PDF packets and CSV exports. 

This update brings greater compliance and transparency to the review process, while giving admins flexibility to match their org’s policies.

Expand Access and Control in 1:1s and Reviews

We’ve made updates to help teams expand access where it matters. From more flexible 1:1 templates to refined review permissions, these changes give admins greater control without adding complexity.

  • 1:1 Templates for Non-Managers: Non-managers and individual contributors can now use 1:1 templates for mentorship, peer check-ins, and cross-functional collaboration. Admins can control template visibility (Managers Only or All Employees), and the template picker has been updated to reflect user roles.
  • Manage Review Cycles Without Viewing Results: Super admins can now grant a new global permission that allows users to create and manage org review cycles without seeing any review results. This is ideal for HRBPs or People Ops managing review logistics while preserving HR-on-HR confidentiality. 
  • Custom Reporting for Talent Customers: Talent customers now have access to Reports, a powerful feature previously limited to HRIS users. Teams can now build, save, and schedule custom exports, including the new Review Responses report, which supports multi-cycle selection, column reordering, and scheduled email delivery.

Unlock Survey Trends and Smarter AI Interactions

Using Charts (formerly known as the Analytics Explorer), you can now track how question-level and eNPS scores changes over time across engagement, onboarding, and exit surveys, helping you spot trends, assess the impact of initiatives, and make data-driven decisions.

We’re also continuing to invest in the Lattice AI Agent, a game-changer for countless HR teams. The AI Agent now displays specific source domains (like 1:1s, Reviews, or Feedback) rather than generic “User Data,” making responses more transparent and trustworthy. 

Enjoy An Enhanced Navigation Experience

We’ve continued to refine the core Lattice experience to make navigation faster and actions more intuitive. Across our platform, we’ve significantly improved the user experience — for employees, managers, and HR leaders — to enhance the overall Lattice experience.

What’s changed? 

  • A redesigned left‑hand navigation bar with clearer structure and an option to collapse
  • A streamlined top‑right menu for profile, company, and admin settings
  • Improved consistency and breadcrumbs across the platform to make navigation easier

A refreshed, intuitive Lattice experience that makes it easier to navigate, track goals, and take action faster.

Do More with Lattice HRIS

We launched several improvements this month to streamline HR operations and onboarding workflows:

  • Gem Integration: Automatically sync new hires from Gem ATS to Lattice HRIS without manual entries. 
  • Pinpoint Integration: Keep HR records in sync with Pinpoint ATS and reduce manual updates.
  • Service Accounts for HRIS API: Create scoped, secure service accounts to power custom integrations.
  • Completed Onboarding View: See a full record of completed onboarding steps for compliance and clarity.
  • Reassign Document Approvers: Change approvers mid-onboarding if someone is out or has left the company.
  • Time Off Summary Improvements: Refreshed views make time off balances and history easier to track for admins, managers, and employees.
  • Multiple Signature Documents in Onboarding: Add onboarding docs that require up to five signatures, helping streamline compliance-heavy flows.
