Lattice Advisory Services Launches to Improve People Strategy Initiatives at Scale

Companies today are facing difficult dilemmas — witnessing the rapid evolution of external factors beyond their control like public health, social justice, technology, and belonging — and wrestling with how the resultant landscape will impact their employees. People teams are on the front lines of these decisions, pivoting plans to support their organizations with new forward-facing strategies. In the face of these changing times, we’re thrilled to be able to offer additional support to People teams with the launch of Lattice Advisory Services (LAS), a holistic people management advisory group and partner ecosystem.

The initial focus of LAS is on surfacing the methodologies and best practices that form the foundation to effective, progressive people strategies. These will be aggregated and analyzed from academic research, industry expertise and market analyses to arm companies with the understanding of what practices are successful, the conditions under which they are successful, and what that success looks like across individuals, teams and companies.

The Lattice Advisory Services team will use their research and findings to guide customers according to their unique needs, priorities, and stages of their business and teams. This will provide a much-needed blueprint to build effective programs and actions, while maintaining the flexibility to evolve as those needs change. The LAS trusted partners ecosystem will further provide People leaders with the personalized support and expertise required to execute on their People strategies.

In today’s turbulent times, we’ve felt the dramatic and rapid focus on people management solutions as businesses adapt their teams to remote work culture. Companies are looking for assistance, expertise, and guidance to support them in the creation of new strategies and initiatives to evolve in changing times. Lattice has been dedicated to providing support and materials to help People leaders navigate this rapid change, and today we are taking the next step in championing companies that prioritize their people. The Lattice Advisory Services team knows that people strategy is business strategy, and is excited to bring new value through data-informed, strategic insights and guidance.

Lattice Integrates with ADP to Offer Seamless People Management

Lattice enables people leaders to develop engaged, high-performing teams. HR information systems (HRIS) like ADP Workforce Now® enable companies to maintain and monitor core HR, payroll, and benefits administration.

With Lattice’s new integration for ADP, customers who use both Lattice and ADP Workforce Now® can easily share and manage their employee data between the two platforms. The integration, available on ADP Marketplace, can help HR teams better manage their employee data, spend less time on redundant data entry, and not have to worry about security issues or loss of data.

HR information systems (HRIS) enable companies to maintain and monitor core HR, payroll, and benefits administration- usually thought of as back-end human resources functions. Paired with a people management platform that handles performance management, employee engagement, and analytics like Lattice, HR leaders can seamlessly integrate and share information across both platforms without having to worry about security issues or loss of data.

Streamlining Team Data

Flipping back and forth between tools is cumbersome and increases the chances of losing or misunderstanding information. Sending people data from ADP Workforce Now® into Lattice gives people leaders the peace of mind knowing employee data will seamlessly be aggregated without having to manually collect and upload CSV files. Lattice retrieves only the data critical to performance management, employee engagement, and analytics. Nothing less, nothing more.

The integration also automatically syncs new information, like newly hired employees, promotions and more, adding an additional facet of insight to employee profiles. This allows People leaders to see the full picture and better understand employees’ experiences at the company as well as removing the need to update multiple platforms.

Cross-Platform Efficiency

Data from ADP Workforce Now® will automatically sync to Lattice every night, or can be manually triggered by an admin, to provide consistent, up-to-date information.

The integration also includes single sign-on (SSO) capabilities as well as provisioning and deprovisioning of employees as they onboard and offboard from your organization.

ADP Workforce Now® is a cloud-based platform for HR management software, where you can easily manage all of your HR functions — payroll, HR management, workforce management, talent, and benefits — and gain insights across them all.

“That dedication to putting people first is still clear over a year later:” Emily Cook on Caring for Customers at Lattice

Emily Beugelmans Cook is a People Strategy Consultant at Lattice, where she’s worked for over a year. Here, we talk to her about how her personal mission to make workplaces more humanistic led her to Lattice, the ERGs she’s a part of, and her passion for the Classics (languages).

How did you get started in the customer experience field?

I joined the Customer Experience department as a Customer Success Manager in June 2019.

What drew you to Lattice?

Simply put, Lattice stood apart from other companies in its culture and commitment to delighting customers.

When I had started my job search, I knew that I wanted to work at a company whose values aligned closely with my own. It’s my personal mission to make workplaces more humanistic (I’m a former liberal arts teacher, after all!), so I was looking to move to a company that understood the importance of human connection and relationships. From my first phone screen to my onsite interview, it was clear how much Lattice cares about its employees and customers. That dedication to putting people first is still clear over a year later!

What’s your favorite part of working here?

My favorite part of Lattice is the people, hands down! There are a couple of reasons why that’s true for me.

First, Lattice is made up of some of the most caring, warm people I’ve had the fortune of meeting. For example, onboarding is such a critical time when you transition into a new role, and it can be a make or break time for your long term success with the company. Even before I started I received a ton of emails and LinkedIn messages welcoming me to the team, and when I got to the office, I had a calendar full of welcome coffee dates. I could tell that people actually wanted to get to know me and help me succeed.

Second, I really believe that being surrounded by high performers is key for your own growth. I get to work with some of the most talented, hardworking, and smart people at Lattice. It inspires me to do my best work and reach new heights in my career.

What ERGs are you a member of?

I’m a proud Lattice Ladies member and officer.  Our mission is to advance the professional development and empowerment of women in tech through education, mentorship, and cross-functional connection, with the ultimate goal of building a more inclusive workplace.

I became an officer because after spending the majority of my working life in predominantly male spaces, I came to understand how important female mentorship was to my own career development. Having the opportunity to support other women and create a more inclusive space in technology is one of the most fulfilling parts of working at Lattice.

What’s your favorite Lattice Slack Channel and why?

Foodies of Lattice! Living in the Bay Area means we have a ton of great food options, so it’s super fun to get recommendations from colleagues. Plus, I love seeing everyone’s baking and cooking projects. We’re even creating a Lattice employee cookbook where we can share our most loved recipes!

What’s something you’re passionate about outside of your job?

Before working at Lattice I was studying for my PhD in Classical Languages and Literature and taught Latin at the college level. I’m still passionate about my old field and mentor other academics who are looking to transition into tech. I love the fact that I can remain active in the Classics community and give back to it in a new way.

Tell us about your best day at work!

The day we launched our new product, Grow, was incredible. Even though we were all working remotely at the time, the excitement was still palpable through Slack.

Cheez-Its or Goldfish?

Cheez-Its all day, every day. Goldfish are so bland!

Lattice works with People teams across the globe to turn managers into leaders, employees into high-performers, and companies into the best places to work. Interested in joining our team? Check our Careers page for all open positions across a variety of departments.
